Seating Capacity and Configuration of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee
The Jeep Grand Cherokee has traditionally been a two-row model. However, things are always changing, and our favorite automaker is always innovating. We think this is why customers here at Lum’s CDJR keep asking us: does the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee have three rows of seats?

For 2021, Jeep has released a three-row version of the Grand Cherokee called the Grand Cherokee L. This model can seat up to seven individuals inside. The standard 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee still comes with two rows and is a carryover from 2020 (meaning not too much has changed on this year’s two-row incarnation).
Ever Wonder: What’s the maximum towing capacity of the 2021 Ram 1500?
Can the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L still go off-road?
To any doubters, Jeep assures that the 2021 Grand Cherokee L will provide just as much off-road cache as any two-row Grand Cherokee.
How else is the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L different from the standard Grand Cherokee?
The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L has a wheelbase that’s 6.9 inches longer than the two-row model. It comes equipped with an independent front and multi-link rear suspension.
The new third row can be easily accessed thanks to second-row seats that fold and slide forward. The third row has available power-folding seats and provides 30.3 inches of legroom.
Behind the second row in the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L lies 47 cubic feet of storage room, which is 11 more cubes than that provided by the two-row model. When all the seats are folded flat, the Grand Cherokee L boasts a total of 85 cubic feet of cargo space.
