What’s the highest amount the 2021 Ram 1500 can tow?

2021 Ram 1500 Maximum Towing Capacity Lots of pickup drivers use their pickup for towing. As a result, customers often find their way into our Lum’s CDJR dealership looking for a machine that can tow a hefty sum. What’s the highest towing capacity one can get on the 2021 Ram 1500? more View Our New Ram 1500 Inventory Contact Us When properly equipped, the 2021 Ram 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds. This rating can be achieved by using the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine. This powerplant utilizes class-exclusive eTorque mild hybrid technology for help achieving this lofty number. If you’d like more information on how to equip your 2021 Ram 1500 for maximum tow capabilities, don’t hesitate to ask. The folks over at Ram describe the 1500 as a great machine for hauling things like boats and travel trailers, along with ATVs and other recreational vehicles. If you’re looking to haul bigger items, we recommend looking to a heavy-duty Ram model. What does tow capacity mean? Towing capacity figures refer to the maximum weight that a vehicle can tow after the weight of the vehicle, as well as any cargo, has been added in. See what your monthly payments would be on the vehicle you’re interested in with this handy payment calculator! What factors affect the towing capacity I get in my Ram 1500? Different Ram 1500 builds will provide different towing capacities. The biggest factors that affect this figure are engine and transmission choice; powerplants that provide more horsepower and more torque typically mean more towing power. Another factor to look at is the axle ratio. Models with a higher axle ratio provide more towing power, while a lower axle ratio provides greater engine efficiency. Those who have watched the television series Full Metal Alchemist will recognize this as the law of “Equivalent Exchange.” But that’s not all. Towers* should also pay attention to the type of hitch receiver that their vehicle is equipped with. Class 1 receivers are rated to haul around 2,000 pounds, while Class 5 can handle up to 23,000. If you’re looking to pull even more than that, opt for a fifth wheel or a gooseneck trailer. In addition, the wheel drive system of your ride will affect the tow rating. Two-wheel drive setups actually tend to have higher towing and payload capacities. This is because 4x4 systems add more weight to the truck. However, 4x4 can provide greater levels of control. Finally, note that if you upfit your Ram 1500, the added weight of the upfit gets subtracted from the towing capacity. Have you ever heard of Lum's? *Pronounced “toe-urs.” We are referring to individuals that perform the act of towing, not to tall structures.

Does the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee have a third row?

Seating Capacity and Configuration of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee The Jeep Grand Cherokee has traditionally been a two-row model. However, things are always changing, and our favorite automaker is always innovating. We think this is why customers here at Lum’s CDJR keep asking us: does the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee have three rows of seats? more View Our New Jeep Inventory Contact Us For 2021, Jeep has released a three-row version of the Grand Cherokee called the Grand Cherokee L. This model can seat up to seven individuals inside. The standard 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee still comes with two rows and is a carryover from 2020 (meaning not too much has changed on this year’s two-row incarnation). Ever Wonder: What’s the maximum towing capacity of the 2021 Ram 1500? Can the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L still go off-road? To any doubters, Jeep assures that the 2021 Grand Cherokee L will provide just as much off-road cache as any two-row Grand Cherokee. How else is the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L different from the standard Grand Cherokee? The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L has a wheelbase that’s 6.9 inches longer than the two-row model. It comes equipped with an independent front and multi-link rear suspension. The new third row can be easily accessed thanks to second-row seats that fold and slide forward. The third row has available power-folding seats and provides 30.3 inches of legroom. Behind the second row in the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L lies 47 cubic feet of storage room, which is 11 more cubes than that provided by the two-row model. When all the seats are folded flat, the Grand Cherokee L boasts a total of 85 cubic feet of cargo space. Wondering how much you can expect to pay on a new vehicle? Find out with our payment calculator! So there are two versions of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee? There will be three version of the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Ram Dealer Near Astoria and Warrenton, OR

If you live along the Oregon Coast and need a truck that can keep up with your life, finding the right Ram dealer matters. The Pacific Northwest is hard on vehicles. Wet roads, coastal back roads, and the kind of loads that come with fishing, contracting, or just living out here demand something purpose-built. For drivers in Astoria, Warrenton, and the surrounding region, that search doesn't need to take you far. Lum's CDJR: Your Local Ram Dealer Near Astoria and Warrenton, OR We've built Lum's CDJR into the go-to Ram dealer near Astoria by focusing on the kind of personalized, community-rooted experience that larger metro dealerships rarely match. Located at 1605 SE Ensign Lane in Warrenton, we serve the entire Oregon Coast and Southwest Washington with new and pre-owned vehicle sales, financing, a full-service department, OEM parts, and a rental fleet, all under one roof. Serving Oregon and Southwest Washington since 1969, we've built lasting relationships with the people who live and work here. You walk in as a neighbor, not a number in a queue. That community-first approach, combined with a solid lineup of Ram trucks, is why so many local buyers choose Lum's over driving hours to Portland. We also serve Astoria and the surrounding communities up and down the Coast and into Southwest Washington. Why Ram Trucks Are a Natural Fit for the Oregon Coast Choosing a truck on the Oregon Coast isn't the same decision it might be somewhere else. The climate, terrain, and lifestyle here place specific demands on a vehicle, and Ram trucks are engineered to meet them. Built for Pacific Northwest Weather and Road Conditions Rain is a constant companion on the Coast. So are winding two-lane roads, steep grades, and the occasional stretch of unpaved terrain. Whether you're heading into a foggy morning commute to Astoria or taking a muddy back road to a job site, a Ram handles it without hesitation. Towing, Hauling, and Getting the Job Done For contractors and fishermen, towing and payload capacity aren't just specs on a window sticker. They're daily priorities. Weekend Recreation Along the Coast Ram trucks are just as capable when Friday rolls around. Spacious cargo beds and roomy interiors make it easy to load up gear and head out, whether that's kayaks, fishing equipment, or a full camping kit for a weekend up near Cannon Beach or around Newport. At up to 20,000 lbs of max towing capacity and 3,930 lbs of max payload, the 2500 is built for contractors hauling large trailers or farmers moving equipment on a regular basis.
